Car Deets is more than just another detail shop that spruces up car interiors and exteriors. For one thing, it's owned by college student Ben Beach. For another, it employs both at-risk youth and under-privileged teens experiencing homelessness, creating for them stable income and an employable skill.
Through rigorous training, these teens become skilled in their craft. They clear crumbs from interiors and wax exteriors to a refined shine. They can also perform specialty services—removing excessive pet hair or stains caused by constantly strapping a pot of chili into the passenger's seat.
